What You Will Learn
Our Paediatric First Aid course includes:
The Role and responsibilities of a Paediatric First Aider
CPR for infants and children and use of an AED
Managing unconsciousness
Choking in infants and children
Bleeding and shock
Minor injuries including cuts, grazes, bruises, nosebleeds and splinters
Head injuries
Neck and Spinal injuries
Limb injuries
Eye, nose and ear injuries
Medical conditions including Asthma, Diabetic emergency, Allergic reaction and Anaphylaxis
Seizure including Epilepsy and Febrile convulsion
Burns
Poisoning
First aid kits and record keeping
All assessment is through hands-on practical scenarios
