Learn how to plan and deliver activity linked to the curriculum and defined outcomes.

The course is delivered online through our platform on Moodle and consists of 10 hours of guided learning. Once you have registered and paid for the course you will be sent a Moodle log-in. You will then be able to sign in and complete the course in your own time and at your own pace. If you choose to study at 5am to fit in with work and family that is fine with us!

Assessment is done through the completion of a portfolio. All the tasks for the portfolio are on Moodle and once you have completed them you upload your evidence to Moodle for assessment. You will need access to some learners in order to complete this part of your portfolio as you are required to plan and carry out an activity. If you work in a school then you could organise an activity for a group or class of children, if you volunteer for a museum project then you may choose to plan a visitor activity or a guided session for a home school group. This part of the course is down to you - show us your area of expertise.

You will have access to your tutor/assessor throughout the course, they will support your learning, give you feedback and mark work that you submit.

It is expected that you will take around 50 hours to complete this course, this includes the 10 hours of guided learning.

The cost of the course is just £195 - this includes registration with the Awarding Organisation, ITC First, log-in to the course on Moodle for 12 months, tutor/assessor support through Moodle and by email throughout the course, portfolio moderation and certificate upon successful completion.
